Most of the people in this world use gas for cooking purposes and for vehicles as well. And gas is natural resource that gets extracted by large and huge gas companies all around the world including India. There are numerous gas distributors throughout the country in India by obtaining gas legally from refineries and dealers. There is a list of gas distributors all over India.

Some Facts

According to a survey, it is found out that

• India has some thirty eight trillion cubic feet of natural gas reserves.
• India’s gas reserves can last for period of twenty nine years.
• These reserves can survive for a longer time compared to the estimated time frame of nineteen years given to the oil reserves.
• Most of the India’s natural gas comes from the Bombay high basin and from the state of Gujarat.

These offshore gas reserves are also situated in Andhra Pradesh coast that is also known as Krishna Godavari basin and Tamil Nadu coast that is also called as Cauvery or Kaveri basin. Onshore gas reserves are also located in other eastern states as well. These are the places from where most of the gas distributors operate and supply gas to all over the country to various dealers. There are approximately more than two hundred gas suppliers from all over India getting approval and authority to distribute gas to its consumers and they started distributing gas after independence since 50’s.
