Who Are Stock And Bond Brokers And Dealers?
The stock and bond brokers and dealers are responsible for executing the bond trades between the bond traders. These brokers are the middle persons who on behalf of the company that remains hidden trade between the bond traders.
The stock and bond brokers and dealers are hired by the firm for purchasing and selling bonds and depending on the transaction nature they act as either dealer or broker.
They Are Same Persons or Firms Who Change Their Role Play As Per Requirements
When the orders are executed on behalf of the clients they act as a broker and when they trade for an own account they act as a dealer. Being a stock and bond broker they execute the customer’s order and charge commission for the service responsibilities where they need to disclose the commission amount.
Being a stock and bond dealer they participate in the trade as the main. They are market maker who mark-up or markdown the security market but don’t mark-up or markdown the amount.
The stock and bond brokers and dealers are the same who can be found in a brokerage firm. Being a broker they find individuals or customers to buy or sell the securities of a company.
Being a dealer they participate in the transactions taking the opposite side of the trade. They responsibly sell the securities to the customer from the firm’s account and also buy the securities for their own account.
