Video Club Rentals
A lot of video store owners and businesses are offering video tape rentals for anyone in lowest price rate but there are still lots of video stores which operate some sort of video club. So, they are also offering video cu rentals and usually work in the below process:
You need to take membership of the video club.
Members are charged an annual or lifetime fee – for the right to a discount on sales or rentals, get the chance of participation in any special promotions and also so many other fringe benefits. Sometimes a new member can also get some FREE rentals for joining the video club.
Some of the video stores may also require to all the customers become the club members. Others can also have the permission for the video club rentals but at higher price rate. The reason for sponsoring such clubs by video stores is very simple. The cost of owning a video store is really very high. The main reason is the cost of inventory as many video store usually needs to keep at least 1000 tapes services to its customers and then again its rents, furnishing, salaries etc.
So, the video club store owners provide a start up costs and other expenses through the video club rentals. In fact, if the owner is giving the FREE RENTALS, he customer has to still put the cash upfront either at the time of booking or by taking membership of the club.
Another reason of taking membership of the video club is that if you don’t have any credit cards as some clubs allow the members of taking video club rentals including those who don’t have any credit cards to rent film without leaving a deposit.
In fact another big reason is that not all the video store provides clubs. So, if you get a video store with rentals of club few meters away from your home after taking membership, then definitely you would select that one and love to take membership from them for video club rentals, not choose the one which is in front of your home without any club. Some stores also provide you some free video club rentals after taking membership from them.
So, the customers should research about the video stores with rental clubs option before going to book the club or taking membership from them because you may get some video rental clubs with more facilities and less in cost rate rather than the one that you may choose in front of your house.
